Finding the Right Partner | Be Picky!

Finally finding the right partner
At some point it's no fun anymore to always be alone. You notice this, for example, when you want to go on vacation. Lying on the beach all alone just isn't nice, and the question quickly arises whether a vacation like that even makes sense anymore. But in many other areas of life life without a partner isn't ideal either. After an exhausting day at work it's very sad to have nobody at home waiting to serve dinner or simply show an interest in the problems of the day. But you don't have to resign yourself to eternal single life. With the right plan, you can finally find the right partner in the foreseeable future.

Finding the right partner for the long haul
Anyone who wants to leave single life behind usually has a very strong interest in not returning to the old situation after a few months. Once you've found a partner, you also have to keep them. But how can that work? How do you prevent losing a brand-new relationship? Of course there's no secret recipe, but especially at the start of a relationship you shouldn't get overconfident and above all should show understanding for your partner. You go from "I" to "we," so to speak. Nearly all decisions are now made together. This applies to nearly every area of life. A cabinet is no longer simply bought new, and even the next vacation has to be agreed on first. This is exactly the path that makes sense for a relationship. If you keep trying to simply get your way, it can quickly lead to losing the relationship. Sometimes you make decisions completely unconsciously or simply do things out of habit because you've always done them that way. With a partner, however, this can land badly and quickly mean the end of the relationship.
The new relationship has to be nurtured
If you want to keep a newly won partner for a longer time, you should definitely avoid the following:
- making decisions only on your own
- being selfish
- only letting your own opinion count
- being dishonest
- showing no consideration for your partner's feelings
- showing no interest in your partner's problems
There are surely many other things that aren't exactly good for a relationship. Positive thinking is very important in a relationship. Anyone who shows enough optimism is also doing their relationship a huge favor. Problems and unpleasant things are part of life. For example, stress and setbacks at work can quickly put you in a bad mood and be very depressing. In a relationship, though, you should never take these problems out on your partner, because that's absolute poison for a harmonious relationship.
